Hair cutting of children with Autism
15 October 2019

For many parents of children with Autism, getting their child's hair cut can be a traumatic experience. Many children hated having his head touched, some are sensitive around his ears or sensitive to the noise of trimmers. Our autism department has taken up the challenge and arranged a hair cutting in the school itself. 6 children were selected from each class and shown hair cutting videos before actually getting their hair cut. They have provided some rewards like mobile phones or their favorite food to keep them occupied during the hair cut. Parents were really happy and thankful with this new initiative.
