About us

Adarsh Charitable Trust, also known as ‘Adarsh’, started as a day care facility in 1998 for a group of 7 differently - abled children. Since then, it has come a long way to earn its present status as a prestigious Centre of Excellence in the domain of training and rehabilitation of children with special needs in Kerala. Adarsh now caters to more than 500 such children and has evolved to provide a comprehensive range of developmental solutions for such children. 

This includes speech therapy, language and communication training, special education, vocational training etc. and therapeutic activities such as hydrotherapy, play therapy, auditory integration, DIR training amongst others

Home Based Rehabilitation Programme (HBRP)

In spite of special schools being setup, there is a section of society which is unable to utilize these benefits, due to lack of awareness, financial difficulties etc. For such sections, adarsh has set up a “Home Based Rehabilitation programme”.
