In response to this scanning, the software presents options based on frequency of occurrence .Once the sentence is created, it is spoken out by the speech synthesizer. Commonly used sentences are stored for quick retrieval .Not only does it enable full freedom of expression but it also allows independent operation .It is portable and can be mounted on a wheel chair.

CASE HISTORY
Anugrah Bency, a child with cerebral palsy (Quadraplegic) 12 years old started his Academics at the age of 9 and now he is doing his IV standard, following NIOS syllabus at Adarsh Special School.

He is a child with communication problem (His speech is not clear) , not able to write as both his upper and lower limbs have been affected. He is not even able to sit independently without support. He sits and moves in an adaptive wheel chair with the help of his mother . His cognition is more than a that of child of his age. His social interaction with his peer group and teachers is excellent.

He has just started using AVAZ , he can type words and  sentences when the device is in Auto scan mod.  Judging by his progress I feel  he will be able to communicate with everyone  using this device. In future, he will be able to take up his examination without a scribe.

“AVAZ is a boon for all non verbal children”
